First time customer here. I did some research and saved 500 cash over a period of months anticipating a major service that was due soon. I wearily walked in and told the service consultant Ryder my budget. He had me come around the counter and look at his computer to show me what he saw on his screen. Very transparent and professional. He added a military discount and got me in under budget at $380! No pressure, No extra sales add on, no run around. Really professional guy. I had to take a courtesy shuttle home while my vehicle was being serviced for the day. Rod Kruse, the owner, picked me up in a brand new fully loaded, clean, Honda Odyssey minivan. You can tell by the way he talked that he really cares about his employees. Wow. I was genuinely surprised about how comfortable I felt with the service of this company. They turned a typically expensive, and unpleasant experience into an A++ experience. UPDATE: I just got a tin full of cookies in the mail from them a month later thanking me for my business. I brought my car to Import Specialty for a second quote after the dealership quo. I brought my car to Import Specialty for a second quote after the dealership quoted over $1800 for my repair and was shocked and so pleased when they came back $1200 CHEAPER for the same fix. While I'm sure that's not always the case, right then and there I became a believer that you can find a great, honest repair place in town. On top of that, despite a few hiccups in my repair process that were unforeseen, Ryder was incredible in regards to his communication and explanation throughout the process. In addition, Byron stepped in when Ryder was busy with other clients to help keep my process going and was equally delightful to work with. I will never go anywhere else as long as I have my car or future cars, fan for life.

I only took it to the dealer because it seemed like a "dealer only" issue. I was wrong. Import Specialty identified the problems, searched for a way to fix a computer module that is no longer made, kept me abreast of progress being made, and returned a fully functional car to me. This is a professional, customer oriented business that I would recommend to anyone.

These folks are just super to deal with and will go the extra mile. I was needing an oil change in my convertible. One day when I was cut free from work, early I gave them a last minute call. Not only did they work me into the schedule, but the job was completely in a very timely manner. How's that for a first time customer?
