As always, my Service Advisor, Ryder, was exceptional. My Check Engine light lit up on my way home at the end of the day. I immediately called Ryder, and he was able to schedule my car for the next morning. Turns out that a vacuum hose in my engine had been chewed through by a rodent of some kind (almost certainly one of the millions of chipmunks that have taken over my yard!!) As I waited for my car, the tech checked my whole car for issues, replaced the hose, and took photos to show me where the little monsters had chewed up a whole section of insulation under my engine cover, chewed the plastic corners of the cover, and were in the process of building a nest! I saw the damage with my own eyes because Ryder and the tech always takes pictures of what part of my car is being worked on, so I can see exactly what’s happening - it’s just like actually standing beside the tech and seeing what he’s seeing. So helpful! I have been a faithful customer of Import Specialty Service, and have worked with Ryder as my Service Advisor for over 10 years, and NEVER had a bad experience. They’re family-owned, very detail oriented, and always deliver very high-touch service. But only the services you need - no unnecessary “up-sales” that often occur at no-so-honest car repair service companies. I trust them implicitly and wouldn’t take my car anywhere else.
